BHRT (Pellets & More)

  • How do pellets work and how often are insertions?

Pellets release hormones steadily over time. Duration varies with metabolism and activity level—typically 3–4 months for women and 5–6 months for men.

  • What labs do you require and how often?

We draw labs in-house. For pellets: baseline labs, then post-pellet labs at 6 weeks, again around 6 months, and then annually. For weight loss: baseline labs, then at every 10% body-weight change or every 3 months (whichever comes first). We do not accept or file insurance for labs.

  • When will I feel a difference?

Estradiol typically begins rising within 3–4 days (vasomotor symptoms often improve early). Testosterone usually rises within 7–10 days. About 75% of patients report meaningful relief by the 6-week follow-up; some need 2–3 pellet rounds to reach optimal results.

  • My labs are “normal” but I still have symptoms. Can I continue BHRT?

Yes—our approach is to treat the individual, using labs to guide and monitor an individualized plan.

  • Where are your pellets sourced?

From an FDA-registered 503B outsourcing pharmacy for consistency and quality.

Medical Weight Loss

  • Which medications do you use?

We utilize a range of evidence-based anti-obesity medications (oral and injectable) when clinically appropriate, combined with nutrition and lifestyle support.

  • What’s the follow-up schedule?

Initial consult with baseline labs, then regular check-ins. Labs typically repeat at every 10% body-weight change or every 3 months.

Injectables (Botox®, Fillers, Skin Boosters)

  • How long do results last, and when do they start working?

Wrinkle relaxers are typically re-treated about every 3–4 months; onset is usually within days, with full effect at ~14 days. Filler longevity varies by product and area—generally 8–18 months.

  • What about discomfort and downtime?

Expect brief, mild discomfort; bruising or swelling can occur and usually resolves in hours to a few days. Pre-/post-care may include avoiding alcohol and NSAIDs/blood thinners when appropriate, and using recommended post care.

  • What’s your aesthetic style?

Refreshed, never overdone. Our goal is a natural, rested look.

Laser & Energy Devices (XEO+, SecretPRO, Nouvaderm, AquaFirme, truBody, truSculpt, truFlex)

  • Am I a candidate?

Candidacy depends on skin type, medical history, sun exposure, and implanted devices. A consultation ensures the safest, most effective plan. Pre-care may include a period of skin preparation before more intensive treatments.

  • How many sessions will I need? What about downtime and results?

Some energy-based treatments have little to no downtime; others may involve “social downtime” for a couple of days to a week. Our truBody system has no downtime or sore muscles, and results build progressively over weeks to several months to reach full effect. Many treatments are done in a series (commonly 3+ sessions).

  • Body contouring vs. weight loss—what’s the difference?

Weight loss targets overall body fat and health; body contouring shapes specific areas for definition and tone.

Facials & Hair Restoration (AquaFirme, DERIVE, Nouvaderm)

  • What should I expect?

Treatments are customized. Pre-care may include a period of skin preparation before more intensive treatments, and simple post-care afterward. Series are often recommended for best results. We’ll outline a comprehensive plan at your consult.
