Body contouring for men

Less stubborn fat. More muscle definition. Better body composition.

You may be training consistently and still notice more fat around your midsection, less definition, or muscle that is harder to maintain than it used to be.

Weight loss can make you smaller, but it does not control where fat comes off or how much muscle definition you keep.

At Precision Medicine & Wellness, we use truSculpt to target localized fat and truFlex to strengthen and condition targeted muscle groups as part of a complete body contouring treatment plan.

What body contouring can do for men

  • 01Target stubborn fat.
truSculpt treats localized fat in areas that may remain resistant to weight loss and exercise, especially around the abdomen and flanks.
  • 02Strengthen and define muscle.
truFlex uses targeted electrical muscle stimulation to strengthen, tone, and condition specific muscle groups.
  • 03Improve body composition.
Reducing localized fat while improving muscle tone can create better definition and proportion without surgery.
  • 04Complement weight loss.
If you are actively losing weight, body contouring can be incorporated during the process to address specific areas as your body changes.
  • 05Build a plan around your goals.
Treatment is based on your starting point, anatomy, treatment areas, and whether the priority is fat reduction, muscle conditioning, or both.
When weight loss is not enough

Losing weight does not always improve definition.

Weight loss reduces overall body weight and body fat, but it does not control exactly where fat comes off or how much muscle definition you maintain.

You may be lighter and still have stubborn fat around the abdomen or flanks, less visible muscle definition, or a softer appearance than you want.

For men actively losing weight, including those using GLP-1 medications, body contouring can be incorporated during the process. truFlex can strengthen and condition targeted muscle groups while truSculpt can address localized fat as your body changes.

If you are already near your goal weight, treatment can focus on improving definition, proportion, and body composition.

The goal is not simply to weigh less. It is to look stronger and more defined.

Fat. Muscle. Or both.

Your treatment plan depends on what you are trying to change.

Some men need fat reduction. Some need more muscle definition. Some need both.

truSculpt: reduce localized fat. truSculpt uses radiofrequency energy to target localized fat and improve contour in specific areas. For men, this is often used when stubborn fat remains around the abdomen, waist, or flanks despite weight loss and exercise.

truFlex: strengthen and condition muscle. truFlex uses targeted electrical muscle stimulation to strengthen, tone, and condition specific muscle groups. It can be used when the goal is better muscle definition, improved tone, or additional conditioning in targeted areas.

truBody: combine both. When localized fat and reduced muscle definition are both part of the problem, truSculpt and truFlex can be combined as part of a truBody treatment plan. Your series is based on your anatomy, starting point, treatment areas, and goals.

Before you begin

What to know about your treatment plan

Body contouring works best when we are clear about what you want to change and what is realistically possible. At your consultation, we look at your anatomy, body composition, treatment areas, health history, and goals. From there, we create a complete treatment series rather than treating one session at a time.

What body contouring may improve

  • Reduce localized areas of fat with truSculpt.
  • Strengthen, tone, and condition targeted muscle groups with truFlex.
  • Improve shape, definition, and overall body contour.
  • Provide a non-surgical option with no downtime.
  • Support changes in body composition during or after weight loss.

Results develop gradually as you move through your treatment series.

Risks and side effects

  • Depending on the treatment, you may experience temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, firmness, or muscle soreness.
  • Significant changes in weight after treatment can also change your results.

What it cannot do

  • Body contouring is not a substitute for weight loss, resistance training, or surgery when those are what your body actually needs.
  • It also cannot guarantee a specific size, shape, or result. Results vary based on anatomy, body composition, lifestyle, and starting point.

Body contouring at Precision Medicine & Wellness is performed as a treatment plan and series, not as individual sessions.

Before you begin, we review your complete treatment plan and total investment with you. Once your initial series is complete, we offer a body contouring membership designed to help you maintain and continue building on your results over time.

Who may not be a candidate

Implanted electronic devices, active infection in the treatment area, certain metal implants, and some medical conditions may make treatment inappropriate.

Candidacy is determined individually based on your health history, treatment area, and the technology being considered.

Questions

Answered before you ask

Is body contouring the same as weight loss?

No. Medical weight loss reduces overall body weight and body fat. Body contouring focuses on specific areas by reducing localized fat and strengthening and conditioning targeted muscle groups.

The two can work together, and body contouring can be incorporated during or after a medical weight loss program.

How many sessions will I need?

Body contouring at Precision Medicine & Wellness is performed as a treatment plan and series, not as a single treatment.

A typical plan may include 6 to 8 truFlex sessions and 2 truSculpt sessions, depending on your anatomy, treatment areas, starting point, and goals.

Your complete treatment plan and total investment are reviewed with you before you begin.

After completing your initial series, we offer a body contouring membership to help maintain and build on your results.

Do I need to be at my goal weight first?

No. Body contouring can be incorporated while you are actively losing weight or after you have reached your goal.

If you are already near a comfortable weight, treatment can focus more specifically on stubborn fat, muscle definition, and body composition.

Can body contouring help with abdominal fat and love handles?

It may, depending on the type and amount of fat present.

truSculpt is used to target localized fat in specific areas, including the abdomen and flanks. Your consultation helps determine whether body contouring is the right approach or whether overall weight loss would make a bigger difference first.

Can truFlex replace strength training?

No. truFlex can strengthen, tone, and condition targeted muscle groups, but it is not a replacement for regular resistance training and physical activity.

It works best as part of a broader approach to strength and body composition.

When will I see results?

Results develop over time rather than all at once.

truSculpt studies have demonstrated measurable fat reduction at approximately 12 weeks after treatment, while changes from truFlex develop as targeted muscle groups are strengthened and conditioned through the treatment series.
